This makes me really sad 😔
This woman went out to celebrate Australia Day only to feel like a stranger & outsider in her own nation.
I know this feeling well.
This is how most ethnic Aussies feel now.
Our once beautiful nation is unrecognisable in many areas.
It’s like the heart & soul of our nation has been torn out.
Australia no longer feels like home. In the cities & surrounding areas, it feels like you are now in a foreign country 💔
STOP IMMIGRATION NOW ❌
Without REMIGRATION our nation will cease to exist 🥀

Pray, what is an "Australian ethnic"?

Australian Racism
My apologies. I wanted to clarify if you meant any person of white pigmentation. And if that would inlcude post -war Germans, Greeks, Italians, Poles, etc?
But I now understand: You meant the Aborigines who have been Australia's inhabitants for over 60000 years. Sorry again.

Australia Day, 26 January
Once again, this anniversary dawns upon us, and with it the perennial debates about whether it should be observed on this date or some other. Compelled by the divisive character of arguments about this issue year after year, I canvassed a brief proposition in the Canberra Daily last year.

Australian Racism
Thank you. It goes beyond that. Today is the UN-decreed Holocaust Day, and I believe that it should be observed with due solemnity and sincerity. However, the irony, no, the obscenity is that the First Nations Peoples are advised to get "over it" and "move on", and celebrate 26 January even though it was the day of setting the stage for the #AboriginalGenocide to come.
[NB: It is worth recalling that while early, local "Anniversary Day" celebrations began in the early 1800s, it was only in 1994 that 26 January was finally designated as the Official National Day of celebration.] That said, below is my take from last year on observing Australia Day. I would now add, in retrospect, that this commemoration should specifically include the
Remembrance of the #AustraliaGenocide.

“I’m not a journalist … I’m an entertainer”. John Laws tried to sidestep his radio station’s cash-for-comment breaches of the Broadcasting Act. Vested interests could rent Lawsie and Alan Jones by the minute. Shock jockery made them rich beyond the wildest dreams of avarice.

State Funeral for Laws, Seriously?
Indeed. Having 'lived' with #JohnLaws for half a century, I question the idea of giving him a #StateFuneral. It irrevocably devalues the tangible contributions of great Australians who have been accorded the honour of State Funerals in the past.
I assume that if this precedent is set, such an honour will follow for
#AlanJones. #auspol

Adani's Defeat
Congratulations, Ben. That is good for Australia. Unfortunately, this #Adani fellow continues to destroy the ecosystem in India, displacing thousands of tribal inhabitants. It is an extreme scandal. I want to write about your victory and see if an Indian publication is interested. Many in India would welcome this outcome. Let me know. Sincerely, Rakesh Ahuja

Marvellously apt.

At the time of the first European contact, some 250 distinct Indigenous Australian languages were spoken. Today, around 150 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages are still spoken.

Indians In Australia
I confess that I, of Indian heritage, have a very poor view of the quality of recent Indian migrants in Australia. I stress, of the #UglyIndiansAbroad, not Indian migrants per se.
In the economic context, I find this statistic from the US interesting: "Despite making up only 1.5% of the U.S. population, Indian Americans pay 5-6% of the nation’s income tax revenue."
Do we have an equivalent statistic for Indians in Australia? We know that the Indians have the highest median income of all ethnic groups in Australia. Are there any statistics about their contribution to the Treasury?
Anybody, please?

For a moment suspend your beliefs and support to BJP. Keep in mind that these forests being chopped down are going to create environmental destruction in the days, months, years to come. Shortage of water is one. And no political party is going to help you.

Rakesh Ahuja @DwnlodingMyMind · Jun 5, 2025

@SenatorWong , Australia may well not be able to 'digest' this kind of #IndianImmigrant behaviour as perhaps Canada can with its larger population and economy.

Jayant Bhandari @JayantBhandari5 · Jun 5

Canada is looking like India. They are not protesting for liberty but for freebies. Once they get confirmed into Canada, they will splinter into Indian nationalists, Khalstanis, Islamists, etc., and will move to their respective ghettos.
