This fellow does not even know that in the 1700s, India's share of the global GDP was 24% and China's 22%. In 1947, India's share was 4%, and China's was even lower.

(NB: The quote below is misattributed to #Keynes. Economist #JoanRobinson pointed this out back in the 60's. I recall #Galbraith using it in the Indian context, but cannot recall whether or not he attributed it or to whom.)
